In this context, PRO RE NATA, a new entrant, needed a distinctive message and brand identity to gain solid recognition from customers.
The brand name “PRO RE NATA” is a professional term used by doctors and pharmacists in prescriptions, meaning ‘as needed’ or ‘as the situation arises’. The overall design, including labels and typography, is reminiscent of a ‘prescription’, reinforcing the brand's identity as a bioceutical skin solution that embodies the professionalism of doctors.
The logotype of PRO RE NATA is designed with Humanist Sans, a font that sits between Sans Serif and Serif, conveying a modern and prestigious brand image. The brand's initials are also used as a monogram and a stamp, enabling the brand to communicate as ‘PRN’, and instilling trust in it as a bioceutical skincare brand.
